Jonathan Murphy FCA is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is the owner of Ascend training & HR Solutions who are delivering accredited training in Ireland. He was the CEO of Progressive College in Blackrock from 2003 to 2014. During his time there he managed the team who delivered QQI certified programmes to thousands of Special Needs Assistants. He understands the principals involved in all aspects of the business. He believes in building a strong team who have a mix of key skills required to run a successful business. Jonathan has collaborated successfully with a number of groups to facilitate the validation of programmes through QQI and protection of learners. Jonathan serves on a voluntary basis on the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Childcare Committee, Mounttown Community Childcare board, The Association of Health Care Assistants in Ireland (AHCAI) and is chairman of the Training Cooperative Society of Ireland.
